Annual Award Gala The Pasteur Foundation organizes an annual gala in New York City for two purposes: to honor individuals who have demonstrated longstanding commitments to and concern for public health and welfare, as well as to raise funds to develop the activities of the foundation on behalf of the Institut Pasteur In May, the 2010 Pasteur Foundation Award will be given to Franck Riboud, President and CEO of Groupe Danone, and to Professor Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank and the 2006 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Past recipients of the Pasteur Foundation Award include President Bill Clinton and President Nelson Mandela. Pictures of past galas and honorees may be found here.
