Annual Award Gala

The Pasteur Foundation organizes an annual gala in New York City for two purposes: to honor individuals who have demonstrated longstanding commitments to and concern for public health and welfare, as well as to raise funds to develop the activities of the foundation on behalf of the Institut Pasteur.

In May 2010, the most recent Pasteur Foundation Award was given to Franck Riboud, President and CEO of Groupe Danone, and to Professor Muhammad Yunus, Managing Director of Grameen Bank and the 2006 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Past recipients of the Pasteur Foundation Award include President Bill Clinton and President Nelson Mandela. Pictures of past galas and honorees may be found here.

Supporting the Pasteur Foundation Gala is an excellent way to further the work of the foundation.
