Facade of the Williamsburg Health CenterThis depiction of Louis Pasteur may be found at 151 Maujer Street in the doorway of the Williamsburg Health Center, a health-department building in Brooklyn, New York. Titled “Germs and Disease,” the handsome bas-relief panel is in a Deco-Egyptian style. Among others portrayed in the same doorway is Florence Nightingale.
