Biography: Luc de Clapiers

Currently the President of New Dawn Advisors LLC, an investment advisory firm that he founded in 2008, Luc de Clapiers served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Natixis North America (previously IXIS NA and CDC NA) from 1990 until 2008.  There, he specialized in capital markets and asset management.  From 1969 until 1986, he held asset management and banking positions at Crédit du Nord in Paris and became its first New York Branch Manager for corporate banking in 1979.

Mr. de Clapiers received his Master’s degree from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris in 1966. 

He is the father of two sons and resides in New York City.
